Local Engagement

Angus Council and its partners provide numerous opportunities for members of the public to contribute to the work that they do. These pages provide details of current research and consultation exercises, many of which you can comment on, and those that have been completed in recent years. They also provide a link to Scottish Government consultations site.

In addition to these exercises there are many other ways in which you can get involved. You can get in touch with your local Councillor, participate in Local Area Partnerships, contact your local Community Council, and comment on Planning Applications. The Community Learning and Development Service encourages community action and is central in helping young people to participate in the Angus Youth Congress and Young Scot Angus. The Consultation and Research page provides further information on the coordination of these various initiatives.

Details of the Angus Citizens' Panel and the research carried out using it are also available on these pages. The panel was used to provide input to consultation and research projects in previous years.
