Angus Council has prepared its annual Audit of Housing Land detailing those sites with a capacity of five or more houses which contribute to the available supply of land for house building within Angus.

The Angus Housing Land Audit 2014 provides a factual statement of land supply within Angus and is a result of a survey undertaken in April 2014. A draft of the housing land audit was subject to consultation with the Scottish Government, Scottish Water, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Homes for Scotland and developers/landowners/registered social landlords (RSLs) during June 2014. Where appropriate, responses have resulted in a number of changes in the finalised audit. Further details are set out in Section 3 of the document.

The audit is an important source of information for the monitoring of the TAYplan Strategic Development Plan, approved by Scottish Ministers on 8 June 2012. It will also be used to inform the Angus Local Development Proposed Plan which is due to be published later in 2014. The audit also gives details of the available land supply in each of the four Angus Housing Market Areas.

The Housing Land Audit 2014 Site Maps are also available to view for each of the sites detailed in the tables.

The 2012 and 2013 Audits are still available to view using the following links:
