About

There is a scenic 4 kilometre accessible woodland trail and a variety of shorter routes. Abundant wildlife including swans and ducks, red squirrel and roe deer. BBQs, marquees and indoor facilities are available to hire.

Opening times

The park is open 365 days per year. The visitor centre is open 9am to 4.30pm with extended opening hours during the summer.

Accessibility

Accessible toilets at the car park and near the visitor centre.

Baby change facilities are available at the car park toilets.

Accessible visitor centre and bird hide

Discovery, Peddieston and Birchwood Trails accessible.

Refreshments

Hot and Cold drinks machine available in Visitor Centre.

Nearby are Monikie Village Shop, Byzantium Restaurant (within Monikie Park), Milton Haugh Coffee Shop, Craigton Coach Inn.

Dogs allowed

Dogs, under control, are welcomed all year round except in children's play park. Please observe signs for restrictions.

The Ranger Service

Countryside Rangers are available to lead activities for education and community groups within the park. They can also visit schools.

Groups and individuals are regularly involved with the Rangers in conservation projects, orienteering or badge work. The Rangers can visit organisations and give illustrated talks. See charges page for details.
