ANGUSalive, the culture, sport and leisure trust for the county of Angus, wishes to thank everyone who took the time to nominate in the ANGUSalive Sports Awards 2017 and extends a warm congratulations to all those nominated.

The independent panel, comprising representatives from Angus Active Schools, Dundee & Angus College, sportscotland, Scottish Disability Sport and an ANGUSalive Independent Board Member, met this week to review the high calibre of local sports stars, coaches, volunteers, teams shortlisted in each of the nine categories.

ANGUSalive announces the shortlist for the nine award categories as follows:

Due to the high standard of nominations for young people received in the categories Young Sports Personality of the Year/ for People with a Disability Awards, ANGUSalive will also commend the following nominees in celebration of the Year of Young People 2018. Each nominee will also be invited to attend the awards ceremony as our guests.
